Ana María Villagra, spokeswoman for the group, explained to Prensa Latina that since the Covid-19 pandemic they have been analyzing with friends and neighbors the possibility of helping and for that purpose they have organized several activities to raise money and collect items and medications.
She added that this time they are sending blood pressure monitors, bladder catheters, thermometers, syringes, hospital bedpans and other supplies, as well as painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs and contraceptives.
