In an Official Dispatch on the strengthening of the supply of essential goods to attend the population affected by storm number three, the head of government emphasized that the storm caused enormous damages to the lives and properties of the people and seriously damaged production in many localities of the northern region.
The document also notes that local authorities and rescue forces “have made great efforts to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters” and emphasizes the need to ensure food and necessities for the people.
The official communication directs to strengthen market supervision, inspection and control, strictly address and deal with violations, and resolutely prevent the occurrence of illegal situations of hoarding of goods and, especially, unjustified price increases.
The ministerial dispatch, signed the day before, also indicates to focus on addressing the immediate management and repair of houses, schools and hospitals damaged by the storm, urgently remove broken and fallen trees on the roads and quickly overcome the problems of electricity, drinking water and telecommunications.
