The results of the recently concluded 25th meeting of the Vietnam-Russia Intergovernmental Committee on Economic, Trade, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation are practical and reflect that determination, Thu Hang assessed in statements to national media.
The fact that the two sides agreed on more than 100 issues in over 20 areas of cooperation is evidence of the success of the Committee’s work and shows an unwavering commitment to boost ties in several spheres, Thu Hang noted.
Vietnam’s sub-committee needs to implement seriously and actively the agreements outlined in the Joint Declaration on deepening this comprehensive strategic partnership, the diplomat said and proposed to develop proactively cooperation, direct communication, and implementation of agreements.
The deputy foreign minister also underscored the importance of taking advantage of the Vietnamese community in Russia, some 60,000 people of which are members, and using it as a bridge to promote bilateral collaboration.
