“As for the fight against drones, this is generally a new threat, whose technical solutions to combat it is in the process of development,” Lushnikov said this Friday in an interview with the Sputnik news agency.

“It is clear that this is a complex problem. A phased defense is needed, which will include not only means of elimination, but also reconnaissance, suppression and physical destruction,” Lushnikov noted.

The manager pointed out that the Russian military currently uses 12-gauge weapons against drones.
