“The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua, rejects and condemns the continuous aggressions that, in the form of undignified and punitive domination, are launched against our peoples and governments, in times that we recognize as luminous battles for our dignity, sovereignty and rights”, a statement from the Executive highlighted.
Signed by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, the text pointed out that Nicaraguan families extend their “heart of solidarity to the glorious people of (Simón) Bolívar, (Hugo) Chávez, Nicolás (Maduro), and the Bolivarian community, united in ideals, values, struggles and horizons of peace and wellbeing”.
He added that imperial, colonial and neocolonial aggressions only “show the impotence and rage of decadent and decrepit empires”.
“Morally, they have lost all battles in the face of a world that is neither submissive nor dependent, but rather, brave, courageous, and determined to transform the outdated systems and create the new multipolar order, and therefore, powerful from the will, duty and right to be free and walk our own models and paths,” he emphasized.
