crimen-honduras
San Salvador, Sep 13 (Prensa Latina) The occupation of two long weapons and ammunition in a school in Ilopango, on the outskirts of the capital, shows today that the authorities of El Salvador continue the fight against gangs.

After several days in which the funerals of the victims of the crash of a helicopter in which the high command of the National Civil Police (PNC) was traveling, the confrontation with the gangs took center stage again.

A PNC report on Thursday afternoon reported the occupation of two firearms in the Colonia Veracruz Educational Complex in Ilopango, located on the Army Boulevard, near the Ilopango Airport.

The report indicated that they were two 12 millimeters long arms, 44 cartridges of different caliber as well as five shotgun cartridges, one magazine and ten nine millimeters cartridges and a police badge, which were hidden in the false ceiling of the theater of the school, said the corporation.

Another case that has been occupying the attention of the population for the last week is the one linked to the murder of a married couple in this capital city, in the Satellite neighborhood, and whose perpetrators are being processed in a hearing for aggravated homicide, disappearance of persons, illicit groupings and illegal possession of firearms.
