Quoc Vuong, who is charged with “abuse of office and powers in the performance of official duties”, will be brought to justice along with former director of the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Phuong Hoang Kim.
Former deputy head of the Electricity Regulatory Authority’s Licensing and Public Relations Office, Nguyen Danh Son, former director of the Electricity Trading Company of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Tran Quoc Hung, and five others will also be prosecuted.
