During a message the day before, to the diplomatic corps accredited here after his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jaentschke expressed that Nicaragua’s voice will firmly continue to denounce injustices and aggressions to the peoples of the world.
He stressed the commitment to continue steadfastly in the implementation of foreign policy, based on openness and mutual respect, “under the permanent leadership of our Republic’s presidency”.
“We will continue this policy of open doors, always within the context of respect for sovereignty, independence and self-determination”, he emphasized.
He affirmed that in Nicaragua they firmly believe in the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign countries and within the environment of that, respect differences must be resolved through conversations, debates and exchanges.
“This is the only way to advance and strengthen the relations of friendship, solidarity and collaboration that we share with all peoples and governments of the world,” he commented.
