A press release issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) states that the professional platform will be held from September 18 to 20 at the Pabexpo fairgrounds, and will bring together businessmen, investors and high-level national and international experts to exchange experiences and technological advances.
Under the slogan A new opportunity to participate in Cuba’s energy transition, the biannual event will include activities such as a commercial exhibition in which participating companies will present their products and innovations, as well as training workshops and business rounds.
A Sustainable Energy Forum will be held in conjunction with the event, with keynote lectures by personalities from international organizations and national entities in the sector. Another of the fair’s significant activities will be the investment forum, a space aimed at promoting foreign investment in electricity generation and other energy projects, including the use of biomass and solar energy.
The Fair will be complemented by a panel on the New Policy for Cuba’s Energy Transition and the Dialogue Table, a space coordinated by Cuban universities for the development of renewable sources and energy efficiency at the local level.
