The group, in this country until Thursday, September 12, seeks to draw up a strategy to strengthen national capacities and respond to emergencies and resilience.
It also intends to explore ways to consolidate strategic alliances with national and international leaders for sustainable development, the Haiti Libre digital newspaper reported.
Recently, FAO reiterated its warning that Haiti remains at risk of famine.
As reported by FAO, Haiti is one of the nine countries in the world facing the risk of famine and is one of the five countries with more than ten percent of the population in Emergency (IPC Phase 4).
