At its facilities, Triana exchanged views with deputy general director Svetlana Pileva on the upcoming celebration of the Russian Film Week in Havana, and the possibility of receiving support for the film in production “Teófilo”, by renowned filmmaker Alejandro Gil.

The director also visited the Russia Today (RT) channel in Spanish with its director, Victoria Vorontsova, who was invited to present two documentaries at the 45th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema and to co-produce, together with Cubacine ICAIC, the documentary “Subir al cielo” ¨Climb to Heaven¨ by Jorge Fuentes.

Likewise, the delegation from the institute of the Caribbean nation visited the offices of the Roscosmos State Space Corporation, the Museum of Cosmonautics, the Flight Control Center and the remains of Baikonur Ramp 1, from where Cuban cosmonaut, Arnaldo Tamayo, was launched into space.

Triana held a meeting with the top executives of the largest and most prestigious Russian state animation studio, subscribed to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation “Soyuzmultfilm” to receive Workshops and Master Classes on Cartoons next November.

She also exchanged with General Director of TVBrics, Janna Tolstikova, on mutual alliances and real possibilities to spread the film heritage of the island and today’s Cuban documentaries and films on their digital platforms.
