The meeting, which began the day before, featured a seminar and a table exercise, and was part of the implementation of the Cuba-United States Bilateral Coordination Plan.

According to a statement from the Cuban Foreign Ministry, these exchanges respond to the Cooperation Agreement on the matter, signed between both countries on January 9, 2017.
