The event was hosted on the centuries old wooden paved alley in the Plaza de Armas (Arms Square), Old Havana, sponsored by the Cuban Book Institute and the Culture Ministry (MINCULT).
Published by Alarcos Publishing House, the book is dedicated to the memory of Catalonian theatrical performer Andrés Prieto, whose work is extolled in the text, along with other famous artists, such as Cuban actor Francisco Covarrubias, known as the father of local theater arts.
The text includes the author’s research in 2018, which came out under the title “Lo Que Fuere Sonara” (Whatever Will Be Will Be), a chronology of events in Cuban stage from 1511 and 1812.
