“Following the signing of the agreement, our first mechanics will be accepted to do their internships, staring August 2025,” said the dean of Itegeb, Yacira Ruiz.

According to an institutional report from the ESM, the internships will benefit students of Metallurgy, Foundry and Steel, Civil Construction, General Accounting and Automotive Mechanics, who are attending the last two years of training, as well as graduates, pending on the needs and activities of the company.

The agreement will be valid from the date of its signing and will last for three years and could be extended after due assessment and once the parties involved reach consensus.

Practical courses will last from three to four months, with students working eight hours a day.

Vice Minister of Technological Minerals and Productive Mining and Metallurgical Development, Jesús Sirpa, attended the signing of the agreement at the Itegeb headquarters, where he praised the initiative considering it will promote mutual cooperation.
