According to the sources, the attack occurred near the Al-Rahil gas station in the town of Al-Sukarieh near the municipality of Al-Bukamal bordering Iraq, and located about 600 kilometers northeast of Damascus, the capital.

They specified that a missile fired by the drone destroyed a container transported by a truck of the allied forces of the Syrian army, and clarified that the four injured are civilians.

During the last months, similar attacks were carried out against positions of the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies, in the same governorate of Deir Ezzor.

Damascus has denounced the attacks as having left several dead and wounded, and causing material damage to public and private property.

Washington maintains fifteen bases in Syrian territory without the consent of the Damascus government or the approval of the United Nations.

The government reiterated its categorical rejection of all the pretexts that the United States promotes to justify its aggressions against Syrian territory and called them a flagrant violation of international law, humanitarian law, and the principles and purposes of the United Nations.
