Gabriela Palacios, co-director of the Nicaraguan Institute of Urban and Rural Housing (INVUR), explained on national television that those houses will be delivered completely free of charge.
The official noted that those houses will complete 9,000 houses granted in the last three years to families living in extreme poverty. “We have promoted the construction of more than 5,000 houses since 2022, 2023, and this year.”
Palacios highlighted the efforts made by the Government due to the housing policy established through the adaptation of the legal framework of Law 677, Special Regulations for Promoting Housing and Access to Housing of Social Interest.
