The spokesman told reporters that Washington’s level of involvement in the conflict in Ukraine is constantly increasing and that there is no reason to assume that this will reach any limit.
Furthermore, Peskov pointed out that United States’ policy is quite unpredictable, and that issues having to do with either Ukraine or Russia are tools in the hands of politicians.
According to the spokesman, it is unlikely that anything will fundamentally change in the policy towards Moscow after the presidential elections in the United States next November.
Peskov also added that Washington receives “economic dividends” for undermining security in Europe.
