More than 300 participants from both countries attended the event. Deputy Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Bemba, representing Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi, closed the forum.
According to Bemba his country’s president could not attend due to serious events in the country.
On behalf of Tshisekedi, the deputy prime minister congratulated the event’s organizers, who sought to mobilize mutually beneficial partnerships and facilitate access to Chinese public financing.
The official reiterated the willingness expressed previously by both presidents to deepen the strategic partnership between the two nations.
Bemba added that the DRC is committed to ensuring the security of entrepreneurs and businesses in its territory and called for rigorous monitoring of the agreements, so as to achieve the compliance of the proposed objectives.
