The Nicaraguan Armed Forces are divided into Land, Air, Naval and special commands, and together they promote several actions to keep the country as the safest in the region.
Among them, the development of the State Containment Wall strategy stands out, which brings together the main forces and means of the military institution, to prevent drug trafficking and organized crime.
In addition, they carry out, among other important tasks, the constant patrolling of the land border, coastlines and maritime and air borders, with the objective of containing, diverting and capturing drugs that attempt to enter Nicaraguan territory from the south.
“Congratulations to all of us for reaching these 45 years of institutional life, which we have developed with a high patriotic sense to fulfill our sacred mission and tasks for the benefit of our people”, the Army Commander in Chief, Julio César Avilés, recently expressed.
