Al-Khatib asserted that this city will be equipped with the complete infrastructure for all exporters and manufacturers, which would guarantee Syria a certain place in the field of software industry.
Regarding the digital transformation strategy, he indicated that work has been done to make it compatible with existing strategies in Arab and European countries, and a plan was outlined for the year 2030 which started in 2021.
The Ministries of Transport and Interior were the first to implement the digital transformation. Al-Khatib added that the resources are available and open, but the problem lies in the lack of specialized cadres to lead the digital transformation process.
