The Ministry published a communication this Friday on its official website, stating that Russian troops repelled four attacks by Ukrainian assault groups in the areas of the settlements of Korenevo and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye. In addition, Russian forces thwarted attack attempts by Ukrainian units near the towns of Borki, Kremianoye, Spalnoye, Martynovka and Cherkasskaya Konopelka.
Likewise, Russian tactical aviation hit reserves of the Ukrainian Army in 11 towns in the Sumy region, including the homonymous city, the Ministry said.
In the last 24 hours, the losses of the Ukrainian Army amounted to more than 400 soldiers and 29 armored vehicles, including an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier, 27 armored combat vehicles, as well as a howitzer, a multiple rocket launcher, a mortar and 17 vehicles.
Since the start of fighting in the Kursk area, Kiev has lost up to 7,450 soldiers, 74 tanks, 36 combat vehicles, 64 armored personnel carriers, 486 armored fighting vehicles, 227 cars, 52 artillery pieces and 15 multiple rocket launchers, including four HIMARS systems and one MLRS.
Five surface-to-air missile launchers, 10 electronic warfare systems, two counter battery radars, one air defense radar and five engineering vehicles were destroyed, including two obstacle removal vehicles and a UR-77 demining unit.
