Quoted by local “citizen power” media, Murillo pointed out that this can be appreciated by those capable of “seeing the world from a dignified perspective of our cultures and our struggles”.
“But, of course, those who are in tune with the interests of the empires, sadly bent or cowed, who are bent on vanities, egomania, competitions of vanities, of egos, of idolatries, vying to stand out higher or better, they will always be in doubt,” she said.
The Sandinista leader stressed that these groups are in doubt because they are in tune with the dominant interests, the interests of the powers that want and intend to continue dominating the peoples.
“We do see and know how to see, and we celebrated those victories by the people of (Simón) Bolívar, of (Hugo) Chávez, of Nicolás (Maduro), reaffirming national sovereignty and dignity, which are indisputable”, she expressed.
Murillo recalled the historical address by President Daniel Ortega at the recently held extraordinary summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA- TCP), where he pointed out that the European powers institutionalized fascism.
Expounding on the issue, Murillo stressed the importance of never forgetting where we come from, where we are, and where we are going, “and how dearly we pays for every moment, at every crossroads, how dearly we pay for this historic moment, how dearly we pay for our lives”.
