New Delhi, Aug 27 (Prensa Latina) India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday discussed bilateral relations, Moscow's special mission in Ukraine, and his recent visit to Kiev.

In a post on X, Modi underscored that he and Putin discussed, in a telephone call, some measures to further strengthen the special and privileged strategic partnership that their countries maintain.

He also noted that they exchanged points of views on Russia’s special mission on Ukrainian territory and his remarks on his recent visit to Kiev.

Modi reiterated to Putin India’s firm commitment to support an early, sustainable, and peaceful resolution of the conflict.

On Monday, Modi also talked over the phone with US President Joe Biden about his visit to Ukraine, bilateral relations, and the situation in Bangladesh.

As reported by the Foreign Ministry, Modi reiterated Biden about India’s consistent position in favor of dialogue and diplomacy and expressed his support for the early return of peace and stability.
