Rodríguez’s statement was published on his X profile, when referring to a report recently published by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on NED’s subversive actions.

The text reveals that since 2017, NED has financed 54 anti-Cuba organizations. It reported that in 2018, the Cuban Democratic Directorate, an anti-government organization, disclosed having received “funds for democracy” from the United States and paid 48,000 dollars to its employees, agents and contractors in Cuba.

China’s report warned that in recent years, NED has continued to change its tactics and has gone even further by acting against the historic trend of peace, development and beneficial cooperation among peoples.

It also underlines the urgency to unmask NED and alert all countries about the need to see beyond its true colors, protect themselves and fight against its attempts at disruption and sabotage.
