“We reject the authoritarian attempt of the Ministry of Economy to impose a cap, denying the homologation of agreements that exceed that figure. The talks must be resumed immediately”, the secretary general of this organization, Rodolfo Aguiar, asserted.
He also denounced the notable loss of purchasing power of the state employees so far this year.
“The cut applied to the public sector since December made us lose up to now 27 percent of our purchasing power. We are the most punished registered sector in these last eight months,” he stated.
“Granting increases below inflation became a systematic practice of the management of President Javier Milei. Our income is completely liquefied. In addition to a percentage offer that guarantees the real recovery of salaries, a fixed sum must be incorporated that allows the immediate improvement of the lowest salaries”, he added.
He also announced that, during the next few days, ATE will define concrete actions against the policies of the Executive.
