The event was dominated by the silver medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Shanieka Ricketts, from Jamaica, who jumped 14.50 meters, while Italy’s Dariya Derkack finished third with 14.02 meters.
Leyanis, world runner-up and fifth at the Olympic Games in Paris, was unable to maintain her unbeaten record during the League, after winning the meetings in Eugene (14.73), Stockholm (14.67) and Monaco (14.96).
Her compatriot, Liadagmis Povea, finished last with a poor jump of 13.33 meters.
