A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced, in this regard, that Washington recently acknowledged that it has amended its atomic weapons operation guide as the U.S. is also obsessed with taking unilateral nuclear supremacy.

The Ministry said the U.S. position, which the DPRK denounces, counters the will of the international community to maintain peace, stability and relaxation of tensions in the world.

The document noted that the readjustment of Washington’s nuclear disposition is serious as it possesses the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, on the balance in the nuclear field, global security and disarmament.

The DPRK reaffirmed it will strengthen its strategic force to consolidate and eliminate the security challenges arising from the readjustment of the U.S. nuclear program and will stand up as a country against any war threat.
