Israeli attacks kill at least seven people in Lebanon

Beirut, Aug 23 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health today reported at least seven dead and several wounded as a result of Israeli attacks on the southern towns of Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun, Tayr Harfa and Aita al-Jabal.

The institution’s Emergency Operations Center stated that the Israeli attack on the town of Mays al-Jabal killed one person and injured two others.

Meanwhile, one citizen was killed and another injured in the enemy raid on a motorcycle in the village of Aitaroun.

In the morning, Israeli forces’ aggression in the village of Tayr Harfa killed three people. According to reports, two villagers were killed, including a seven-year-old boy, during the Israeli attack in Aita al-Jabal.

Israeli shelling also targeted the area between Deir Mimas and Kfar Kila.

In this context, the Lebanese Resistance (Hizbulah) announced the death of fighters Aqeel Qassem Ghrayeb, Qassem Saleh Harqous and Hassan Wissam Harqous, whom it declared martyrs on the path towards the liberation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
