The police informed that the Uttar Pradesh, India-registered bus, which was carrying 43 passengers to Kathmandu, skidded off the road, plunged down a 150-meter cliff, and is currently stuck on the riverbank.
Nepalese authorities have deployed about 80 Armed Police Force personnel, including 10 divers, to search for the missing passengers, the police source indicated.
Nepal Army spokesman Gaurab Kumar KC informed that the passengers were from Mumbai, Maharastra, Pune, and Panvel.
