The communication specifies that at the site specialists found valuable jewelry made of bone and amber, including a pendant made from a boar tusk and a man’s chest ornament, dating from between five thousand and four thousand years before our era.
An anthropomorphic figure made of flint was also discovered, similar findings in this region had not been seen before. According to the head of the expedition, Andrei Mazurkevich, the new finds provide interesting data on the trade relations of the local population and the cultural influence of the steppe and forest cultures of Eastern Europe.
The researchers pointed out that with the carriers of these cultures came material culture: pottery, bone and horn products.
