Moscow’s Ambassador here, Evgeny Terekhin, who leads the foreign delegation, commented that he gained a valuable view into the significant amount of work done by Addis Ababa in implementing AI for research, development, and deployment in a short period.
Terekhin believes that such growth is due to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s commitment to using technological breakthroughs for development, the local institute announced in a post on X.
He expressed Russia’s interest in partnering with Ethiopia to support national efforts to advance ongoing initiatives, starting with the exchange of experience.
