“Our states have outlined joint projects in the economic and humanitarian spheres for many years, the relevant guidelines of which were determined during the negotiations I held with my Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping”, Putin said when receiving Li in the Kremlin, TASS news agency reported.
From the Russian side, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maksim Oreshkin, Presidential Advisor Yuri Ushakov, as well as Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov, also attended the meeting.
‘Under your faithful leadership over the past two years, Russia has maintained steady economic growth,’ Li Qiang noted at his meeting with Putin in the Kremlin.
The Chinese official highlighted Russia’s GDP growth, stressing that his country, ‘as a friend and neighbor, sincerely rejoices in such achievements’, adding that under the leadership of the leaders, ‘Sino-Russian relations are at an unprecedented level’.
“We are ready to fully implement together the summit agreements with you and constantly expand multifaceted mutually beneficial cooperation”, Li stressed.
