The text was issued at the end of the meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat chaired by the President of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, reports the SPA news agency.

The UN resolutions guarantee the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, reiterated the statement of the meeting, held in Chahid Al-Hafed, a territory free from the illegal military occupation of the Moroccan army.

The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat also underlined “the imperative responsibility of the UN to continue and finalise the process of decolonization of Western Sahara, ensuring that the Saharawi people can exercise their full right to self-determination and independence”.
