Among the measures to be implemented are sanitary controls at points of entry to the country, to identify possible imported cases.

Travelers will be required to complete an epidemiological surveillance form, where they will report their health status and personal data.

Likewise, a rigorous follow-up will be established for people coming from countries where outbreaks have been reported, ensuring that they are kept informed about their health.

According to press reports, authorities are working on the acquisition of specific vaccines for high-risk groups, including the immunosuppressed, pregnant women and sex workers.
