Reports from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN) indicate that the passage of several tropical waves will bring electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.
Late in the afternoon a tropical wave would be approaching from the Nicaraguan Caribbean Sea, which will increase the possibilities of rains, according to what expert Moisés Urbina explained this Tuesday in the morning newscast of Telecorporación Salvadoreña (TCS).
The Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, Fernando López, alerted the population ‘to be attentive to the forecast updates from official sources and to take the necessary precautions’.
The MARN report indicates that the morning will be without rain, with slightly cloudy skies.
But showers and thunderstorms are expected, from midday in the northern mountainous areas and volcanic belt.
The Ministry also pointed out that the Sahara Dust is expected to approach in the following days, between Wednesday and Sunday, while it is not discarded that at some point of the week a “heat stroke” may occur due to the rise of temperatures.
