Bogota, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina) About four thousand representatives of native peoples will arrive to this capital summoned by the Regional Indigenous Council of Cauca (CRIC) for a dialogue with the authorities about their living conditions.

After a meeting between the District Secretariat of Government, the CRIC’s Senior Counselor and the Ministry of the Interior, it was decided to place the members of the mobilization in the Parque El Renacimiento, whose objective is to request the government’s intervention in the territories of the southwest of the country that have been most affected by the armed conflict.

To this respect, the Ministry of the Interior committed itself to coordinate the corresponding logistics for the adequacy of the Park, including sanitary units, medical unit, showers, tents, public services points, among others.
