Montevideo, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina) The electoral formula of the Frente Amplio (Yamandú Orsi-Carolina Cosse) has today better numbers facing an eventual second electoral round, set for November 24 in Uruguay.

This was marked by a Factum poll for the fourth two-month period of the year among the main contenders to the national elections that will have a first round on October 27.

To the question “If you had to choose between these two formulas for President of the Republic and you could not choose between them, which one would you prefer or which one would you reject less?”, 50 percent of the respondents chose Yamandú Orsi and Carolina Cosse. Forty-six percent voted for Álvaro Delgado and Valeria Ripoll, standard bearers of the ruling National Party (PN).

Four percent responded that they would vote blank.

The Orsi-Cosse formula obtained 50 percent, captured as follows: 44 percent of Frente voters, one percent of National Party voters, one of the Colorado Party, one percentage point of Cabildo Abierto, another of the Independent Party and two percent of other parties, according to the poll.
