According to the information published on the official Telegram channel of the military entity, two drones were shot down in the province of Belgorod and the same number in Kursk province.
The Ministry of Defense did not specify the targets of these Ukrainian attacks, although it described them as terrorist actions against the territory of the Federation.
Russian regions bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh, as well as the Crimean peninsula, report shell hits, drone raids and other attacks from across the border regularly.
Belgorod province is the most affected region, with several incursions by sabotage groups from Ukraine in recent months and continuous attacks on border municipalities with the use of multiple rocket launchers, mortars and drones, although Kursk has also been a frequent target of those attacks in the last month.
