During this visit, the two heads of government will discuss joint projects in industry, agro-industrial complex and energy, added the Russian government, which also informed that Li will be received by President Vladimir Putin.

The heads of government will hold the 29th regular meeting, during which they will address topical issues related to the development of Russian-Chinese relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation and focus on the practical aspect of bilateral collaboration.

Areas for deeper cooperation include projects in petrochemicals, coal and renewable energy.

The Russian government emphasizes successful collaboration in automobile and aircraft construction, information technologies, communications, and space.

“Special attention will be focused on expanding cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, including the promotion of joint projects in industry, energy, agriculture, transport and other areas,’ reads the report released by Russian officials.

Following Li’s meeting with Mishustin, the Chinese and Russian authorities would sign a number of intergovernmental and inter-ministerial documents.
