Gambia’s Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow arrived in New Delhi on Sunday, the diplomat also confirmed in a previous publication on X.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have jointly organized the conclave, which will wind up on Thursday, August 22.
The meeting aims to support the growth of the African continent and enhance the role of the India-Africa partnership in the integration of regional and global value chains, the event’s website points out.
In addition to debates, the meeting will focus on essential areas of partnership and emerging opportunities such as agriculture, food processing, defense, digital and financial partnership, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, energy, and electricity, the official information states.
