The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the dead and injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the nearby city of Deir al-Balah.

The official Wafa news agency said that the attack, which occurred last night, hit a garrison and a house.

Paramedics also recovered two bodies following an Israeli bombardment of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, it said.

As part of its ground offensive, the army yesterday ordered the evacuation of numerous neighborhoods in the cities of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, including areas in the so-called humanitarian zone, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are refugees.

This Saturday, the Armed Forces extended the order to a large part of the al-Maghazi refugee camp.
