The effective supply of troops with weapons and, special equipment, means of destruction and logistical support; coordination of actions and interagency interaction during the build-up of troops in case of fulfillment of threats to break the state border, the military portfolio listed on its Telegram channel.

In addition, it will have to ensure engineering construction in the regions, provide military medical support, forces and means for evacuation of victims.

The Council will also take additional measures to ensure protection of the civilian population and infrastructure from drone attacks and Ukrainian shelling.

“We will strive to resolve the problems quickly and without delay. I hope that the information from the ground will be communicated promptly and in a sincere manner,” Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov stressed.

The Coordination Council for military security in the border territories will include deputy defense ministers, heads of military administration agencies, representatives of the General Staff and heads of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions.
