According to a statement issued by the Nicaraguan police, Carballo was captured this Thursday in the municipality of Ciudad Sandino, in the department of Managua.

The text specified that the delivery of the citizen was carried out at the border post of El Guasaule in coordination with the Central Office of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) for Central America based in San Salvador.

The Nicaraguan police reiterated its commitment to continue working for the safety of individuals, families and communities.
