On a meeting with entrepreneurs, to whom he granted over 17,600 new credits, the president mulled over the tremendous domestic predicament of US citizens as the former US President and current GOP candidate for the upcoming elections, Donald Trump, declared that he will not recognize any result that turn out to be contrary to his interests.
Maduro recalled that Trump underscored that if he loses, there will be a civil war in the United States. Right afterwards, the president stressed that they should keep their problem to themselves, and Venezuelans mind their own businesses, thus in the Bolivarian Republic Venezuelans are the only ones in charge.
The leader underlined that any type of conflict that may arise in the country can only be solved among Venezuelans, with their institutions, their Constitution and their laws.
The head of State told the press concerning Colombia that he has been holding phone talks with his peer Gustavo Petro on an array of affairs; however, he noted: “I would never practice megaphone diplomacy with Colombia, never, I will never do it.”
Venezuela respects the Government of the sister nation; therefore, it does not make judgments on its internal affairs, he underscored.
In this sense, Maduro said that his Government is a guarantor of the peace negotiation and “I will never give opinions on what Colombia should do to overcome the war, which is terrible, getting worse and worse.”
I will never tell the Petro Government what it should do, and take out on my social media accounts a piece of advice, no, he emphasized.
In this regard, he remarked that each president and State knows what to do with its internal affairs, and assured that they will continue “helping Colombia in its peace process without meddling in its internal affairs.”
Concerning the process being carried out by the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to settle the contentious appeal presented by him, Maduro valued as positive that this highest judicial entity keeps the population posted about the actions carried out.
It is good news for all Venezuela that the Supreme Court of Justice and its Electoral Chamber conduct the work that we all expect abided by the Constitution and laws, and give course to this type of matters through this maximum jurisdictional body.
The President of the Supreme Court of Justice Caryslia Rodriguez informed that on Thursday the technical examination began on all the electoral material subpoenaed to the 38 political organizations and 10 former candidates that participated on July 28 election.
