The delegations of both countries participating in the fourth Maritime Security Dialogue also agreed to strengthen cooperation between their Navies and the Coast Guard and the application of the law in the sphere.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance collaboration in the sector to foster an enabling environment for mutual growth and global well-being, reviewed ongoing initiatives, and discussed avenues for joint work in various international and regional forums in pursuit of shared objectives.

In the last period, India and Vietnam took steps to boost bilateral ties using the visit to New Delhi of Prime Minister Pham Ming Ching at the beginning of this month.

Representatives of both States signed nine cooperation agreements to continue strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between both nations.

The representatives coordinated the association’s Action Plan for 2024-2028, exchanged memoranda of understanding for cooperation in several strategic sectors, and agreed on two lines of credit of 300 million US dollars for maritime security.
