Its center was located near latitude 28.9 North, longitude 66.5 West, and it is moving north-northeast at about 20 kilometers per hour.
The report states that the hurricane will maintain its slow movement, and tomorrow it will move northeast faster. On the forecast path, the center of Ernesto will pass near or over Bermuda on Saturday.
The current Atlantic hurricane season began on June 1 and the first storm was named Alberto, followed by Beryl, which became a Category 5 hurricane.
Then Chris formed and at the end of July Debby, the second hurricane of this cycle that extends until November 30.
