The Save the Children humanitarian organization that has been working in this country since 1978 reported that 131 minors, including babies, were killed or injured in attacks on their neighborhoods or in clashes between armed groups and the police.
Based on data provided by the United Nations, Save the Children does not rule out that the number of child victims is likely much higher.
Some who committed minor crimes were killed by the same population, the organization, quoted by the Haiti Libre digital newspaper, stated.
