Israeli forces continued their attacks and targeted the outskirts of the town of Naqoura, in the western sector of the southern border.

A strike by the Israeli military hit a house in the village of Kiam and the Deir Mimas area, as reconnaissance aircraft and drones flew over the western and central sectors, as well as the Litani River.

According to the National News Agency, Israel launched flares at midnight over villages adjacent to the Blue Line, the border between Lebanon and the territories occupied by Israel.

Hezbollah fighters attacked the Israeli military site of Ma’ayan Baruch with artillery as part of their operations in support of the people of the Gaza Strip.

Hostilities continue along the southern border in light of Israeli and Western expectation of a possible response by the Lebanese Resistance to the attack on the southern suburb of Beirut in late July and the assassination of Commander Fouad Shukr.
