Ahmed stressed on his social network account X that the 35-hectare project will showcase the future vision of the city.

For her part, Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie highlighted the grandeur of the work, similar to the construction of a new city within the Ethiopian capital.

Abiebie said it includes large shopping malls, residential apartments, offices, educational and health facilities, as well as extensive entertainment areas, water bodies and sports centers.

She noted that it will give a new look to the city by enhancing its international competitiveness, will be an additional source of beauty, as well as create a wide range of employment opportunities for residents as it is considered a major center for international trade.

She revealed that the infrastructure to provide social services will be completed and put into operation in a short period of time.
