Condenan medida de Gobierno argentino contra búsqueda de niños
Buenos Aires, 14 ago (Prensa Latina) La presidenta de Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, Estela de Carlotto, consideró hoy aberrante la decisión del Gobierno argentino de retirar a la Comisión por el Derecho a la Identidad (Conadi) las facultades para investigar la apropiación de menores.
Mediante el decreto 727/2024, el presidente Javier Milei derogó el 715 del 9 de junio de 2004, mediante el cual fue creada la Unidad Especial de Investigación de la desaparición de niños como consecuencia del accionar del terrorismo de Estado (UEI).
Con esa acción, la Conadi no podrá dirigir indagaciones ni acceder a archivos para contribuir a la búsqueda llevada a cabo por Abuelas desde hace 47 años para recuperar a cientos de pequeños arrebatados a sus familias durante la última dictadura cívico-militar (1976-1983).
En declaraciones a El Destape Radio, De Carlotto advirtió que ‘quieren borrar la historia para que no se hable más de los 30 mil detenidos- desaparecidos durante ese período’.
No obstante, seguiremos exigiendo al Estado que nos acompañe porque fue votado por el pueblo para ayudar y no para silenciar, aseveró.
Por su parte, la diputada de Unión por la Patria (UP) y nieta recuperada, Victoria Montenegro, denunció la impunidad con que actúa la actual gestión y acusó a Milei y a la vicepresidenta Victoria Villarruel de ‘avanzar en el mandato de borrar la memoria y ocultar la verdad’.
Además, señaló que la búsqueda de esos niños es una bandera del pueblo argentino, que debe salir a defenderla.
